Brethren,
I'm very excited about working with our new lineup of officers. Our lodge has had a few setbacks over the years, with some of our members either moving or moving on, but we once again have a full lineup of enthusiastic officers and I'm certain that Corinthian is in for a great year.
At the core of a Masonic meeting is our ritual work. Because of this, we will be resuming regular practice on the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm. This practice is for new and experienced members, and participation from both is necessary for it to be successful.
Last year, Grand Lodge introduced the Cornerstone Project. This is a program which recognizes lodges that meet a number of qualifications, particularly making use of the lodge resources manual. Being a Cornerstone Lodge takes ongoing effort but, with all of our participation, I know that Corinthian can achieve and maintain that goal. The qualification window doesn't open until June but that's no reason not to get a head start on implementing the program.
Finally, please remember that our DDGM, R.W. Bro. Bill Booth, is still collecting coats for kids. After a mild start, winter has hit with full force and I'm sure the need is there more than ever. Please help Corinthian participate in this friendly competition where the real winners will be the kids.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
W. Bro. Noah Stewart
