Message From The East

My Brethren, First I would like to thank everyone who took part in the Installation. The evening was a great experience and all of your hard work showed. We have a busy year ahead. We have a first, second and third degree waiting. February we will jump right to it and do an initiation and a second. One thing I love about Masonry is that there is always something you can teach and always something new to learn. If you are a Past Master, there are still things to discover just as the newly raised Master Mason can have knowledge to share. I am excited to get an education program started and would like to see all members participate. Whether you research and write something yourself or read a previously prepared topic, feel free to share it. Many of us are quite busy and unfortunately don’t know each other and families outside of Lodge. I suggest we fix that situation. There are options such as a barbeque, Ladies Night, and family and friends lunch. Let’s get active. Finally I would like to congratulate the new officers and wish them all the best in the coming term. I encourage every member to continue to support the new team, Corinthian Lodge and Freemasonry in general; it is indeed a wonderful institution of which I am proud to belong. Last month saw the closing of Rt. W. Bro. John McKaig’s term as Worshipful Master of Corinthian Lodge and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank him for his dedication to our Lodge and its members. I look forward to your guidance and support as IPM for the coming year. Fraternally Yours, Bro. Tony Johnson Worshipful Master
